The Analytics tab provides insights into your bot’s performance, user engagement, and the effectiveness of conversations. It allows you to visualize activity trends and monitor the overall health of your bot project.

By default, each bot in your Workspace includes pre-configured analytics charts. These cover metrics like last month's users, new versus returning users, messages sent per session, total sessions, and the number of messages received by your bot.

Data in the Analytics tab is based on conversation-related events. These events include user activity metrics like total, new, and returning users, sessions, total and average messages per session, and events like conversations starting, timing out, or messages being received.

If you’re on a Team or Enterprise plan, you can also display custom Analytics by making custom boards to visualize data specific to your needs. For example, you can focus more closely on the number of sessions rather than messages, if that’s what matters to you. You can also create and track entirely custom events, like "Successful resolution" or "Unanswered question."

The Analytics tab also shows data about LLM performance within your bot, so you can see detailed information like which LLMs are performing fastest, producing errors, generating the most tokens, or consuming the most AI spend.
