How Botpress Pricing Works
Incoming Messages and Events
In this lesson

In Botpress, an incoming message or event refers to any action that triggers your bot to respond or take an action. This includes user messages, reactions added to messages, proactive triggers that open the bot, and session timeout events. Each of these incoming actions counts toward your workspace's monthly usage limit.

Only incoming messages and events that a bot is configured to listen to are measured. Actions like messages sent by the bot in response to a user, execution of code cards, and flow transitions do not count toward this quota.

Each workspace has its own limit for incoming messages and events, which is determined by your subscription plan.

You should monitor your usage throughout the month, because surpassing your workspace's limit will cause all bots within that workspace to stop responding. You can either wait until the first of the next month for your usage to reset or purchase a limit increase add-on to restore functionality.
