The Botpress Assistant, which you can access at the top of the Studio, is an agent that you can talk to if you have questions about pretty much anything related to building AI agents.

Clicking it will open an interface that will either guide you through an answer to your question or point you to the correct piece of documentation.

The Botpress Assistant is, as you’d expect, an AI agent built with Botpress. The agent was trained on our documentation, as well as a host of proprietary knowledge, expertise, and best practices about building with Botpress.

Then, we built a custom interface using Botpress React components. These components provide a flexible way to build and customize your agent’s interfaces in React applications. They enable conversation management, user input handling, and event subscriptions for a seamless chat experience.

The Botpress Assistant is there to help guide your building experience, and to inspire you to build agents of your own!
