Pay-as-you-go: If you're a hobbyist, solo developer, or just dipping your toes into the world of AI chatbots, our Pay-as-you-go Plan is the perfect starting point. It's designed to give you all the essential tools to build and experiment without any cost to you. Once you're ready, customize your plan.

Plus: If you're just getting a bot project off the ground and want to scale while keeping your development cost-effective, Plus was designed for you. It includes one of each add-on available on Botpress, and gives you room to explore an additional bot with a collaborator, all at a 25% discount on the add-ons it includes.

Team: The Team Plan is ideal for teams looking to take their chatbot building to the next level and for builders who are spending above $495 on limit increases in the Pay-as-you-go Plan. Save on spend while helping your team deliver more efficient and effective customer service and process automation with this plan.

What is considered an incoming message & event?
An incoming message & event is any action that triggers bot activation. Only incoming messages & events that a bot listens to count towards the quota.

The following actions count as an incoming message & event:

• A user saying "Hello" to a bot
• A reaction being added to a message
• A proactive trigger that opens the bot
• A session timeout event
• Opening the Shareable URL
• Publishing your bot (counts as 3 events)

The following actions don't count as an incoming message & event:

• A message sent by the bot in response to a user message
• An execute code card
• Flow transitions
What is an AI Credit?
Every month, we credit $5 USD to your Botpress workspace, specifically allocated for the consumption of AI tokens.
What actions consume AI tokens?
Any action that requires AI capabilities will consume AI tokens, applicable both in conversation with the bot and in the Studio while building and testing in the Emulator.

Why are the prices listed on my dashboard different?
Like most software providers, we regularly adjust our prices to account for shifts in service provision and availability. The pricing on your workspace may indicate legacy prices different from those listed on this page. The prices listed on this page are current for all newly-created workspaces, including those on an account with a legacy workspace.

What actions consume vector DB storage?
When you make Tables searchable or use Documents, Text Documents, or Websites as a data source for your Knowledge Base, these actions consume vector DB storage.
What happens after I reach my incoming messages & events limit?
After your workspace reaches its incoming messages & events limit, all bots corresponding to the workspace will stop responding.

You have the option of waiting until the first of the next month for message usage to reset or purchasing a limit increase for your workspace.
What happens after my monthly $5 AI Spend credit is completely consumed?
After your monthly $5 AI Spend credit is completely consumed, you will have to increase your AI Spend limit in your workspace for you or your bot to continue performing AI-based actions within that month.

All AI Spend that exceeds $5 in a month will be charged to the credit card corresponding to the workspace. AI Spend is calculated based on LLM tokens usage.

Alternatively, you can also wait until the next monthly period for your AI Spend credits to reset.
When do monthly limits reset?
Monthly limits reset the first day of every month at 05:00am Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
In what currency is your pricing listed?
All our pricing is in US Dollars (USD), unless otherwise indicated.
Is there a way to forecast my AI Spend?
There is currently no reliable way to accurately estimate the AI Spend. Our product team is working on adding visibility into every aspect of the Studio that uses LLMs so users are able to track how many AI tokens each conversation costs. Forecasting the total AI Spend could then be calculated by multiplying the cost per average conversation by forecasted production volumes.
Where can I find the price of third party tokens and AI Spend?
You can find the price of third party AI tokens by directly visiting the pricing page of the tokens' model and getting the information from the model provider. Since Botpress does not mark-up AI tokens' cost, the price charged will reflect the cost incurred by Botpress for that respective token at that time.

For OpenAI's GPT 3.5 Turbo and GPT 4 model pricing, please refer to the AI tokens' cost in their official pricing page.

For Bing Search API pricing, please refer to the cost in their official pricing page.
Is there a monthly limit to my AI Spend?
Yes, each plan introduces a maximum limit for the amount of AI Spend available on that Workspace. These limits are as follows:

Pay-as-you-go Plan: $100 / month
Team Plan: $500 / month
Enterprise Plan: Custom
Can I white label Botpress?
Removing the Botpress watermark is available to Team and Enterprise customers.

We do not currently support white labelling the Studio and building experience.
