Deploy GPTs Extension

The Deploy GPTs extension allows you to take your custom OpenAI GPT and share it with the world.

In just a few clicks, this extension takes your OpenAI GPT and lets you put it on your website, WhatsApp channel, Telegram conversation, and more. You’ll be able to access your GPT through a public and shareable URL, add it to your personal or professional website, or other messaging platforms like Slack, WhatsApp, and Zendesk. It’s powered by OpenAI’s Assistants API, which keeps your GPT running on the same platform, and uses Botpress to deploy your GPT to external channels.

1. Download Extension
First, download the Chrome extension through the Chrome Web Store.

2. Create an OpenAI API Key
For this extension, you'll need to use an OpenAI Developer account with some existing credits. Create an API key, copy it to your clipboard, and paste it into the Chrome extension.

3. Create a Botpress API Key
Next, you'll need a Botpress API key. You'll be prompted to create a Botpress account if you don't already have one. Then, create an API key, copy it, and paste it into the Chrome extension.

4. Navigate to your GPT
The extension will detect the GPT and ask you which Botpress workspace you'd like to deploy it to. If you've just created a new account, select the default workspace.

5. Test
Go ahead and test out your bot. From this menu, you can also retrieve the custom code needed to deploy the bot to your website, or share the URL. You can also configure your bot to share it on messaging channels like Slack, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger.
