How does Botpress work with partners?

Botpress is a partner-first organization, meaning we prioritize the success of our partners in everything we do. Rather than offering our own professional services, we rely on our partners for implementation, ensuring they have the guidance and support they need. We also actively engage in co-selling opportunities and provide technical guidance, all aimed at driving mutual success and delivering exceptional results for our customers.

Do I need to be a developer to get certified on Botpress?

Yes, as technical expertise is key for success. Certification ensures you can handle tasks like building specific integrations for clients. Familiarity with Node.js, React, JSON, SQL, HTML/CSS, and REST APIs is essential.

Can we white-label Botpress?

You can’t fully white-label the platform but you can customize the webchat to align with your clients' brand guidelines.

Is certification tied to an individual or an organization?

Certification is tied to an individual. This means that if you move to a different organization, you retain your certification and expertise.

What does the certification path consist of for a Freelancer or Innovation partner?

The Certification has two components:
‍
1) Theoretical: educational videos followed by a test to assess your knowledge.
2) Practical: a hands-on exercise to evaluate your creativity and skills when it comes to building AI agents on Botpress.

How long does the Certification take?

In total, we estimate the certification process to take approximately 25 hours.

What kind of support do we get as a certified partner?

The Botpress team is dedicated to supporting you and ensuring the success of both you and your clients. Certified partners receive assistance, but more robust support is tailored toward enterprise subscriptions. If you source an enterprise client, you can count on our team to provide both technical and commercial support.

As an Innovation Partner, can my team set up a client on the Botpress Pay-as-you-go plan?

Pay-as-you-go plans are intended solely for demos or small proof of concepts. We encourage our Innovation Partners to onboard production-ready clients onto Team and Enterprise plans to guarantee prompt support and customer success. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Botpress Partner team.

When sourcing deals, will I get support from the Botpress team?

Yes, this is why we encourage partners to register deals with Botpress very early in the sales cycle. The Botpress team is dedicated to supporting you and ensuring the success of both you and your clients. Certified partners receive assistance, but more robust support is tailored toward enterprise subscriptions. If you source an enterprise client, you can count on our team to provide both technical and commercial support.

As a partner, how do I earn commissions?

As a partner, you must register deals sourced by your company through the Botpress partner portal. Once the Botpress partner team qualifies the deal, you will be eligible to earn a commission upon the successful closure of the deal.

When am I expected to register a deal with Botpress?

Deal registration should come early in the process to give the Botpress team visibility into the clients you’re engaging with. Please note that deals are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly encourage partners to register their deals as early as possible.

I am not a partner, but I have a deal that I’d like to refer to Botpress. Can I earn commission for the referral?

Yes. Please use the following link to register the deal with Botpress. A member of the Botpress partner team will be in touch with you to confirm if your deal qualifies for the referral commission.

Can I earn commissions on deals referred to me by the Botpress team?

Since Botpress is sourcing the deal, no commissions will be paid. Partners retain 100% of the services revenue related to the deal.
